Hypnobirthing Antenatal Classes near Gosforth

Private 1:1 hypnobirthing and group hypnobirthing antenatal classes available near Gosforth.

Pregnant and living in Gosforth?

Gosforth is such a lovely spot to be starting, or growing your family. We lived in Gosforth, when we first moved to Newcastle, and I thought Gosforth was such a lovely community, with lots going on for new mums. I teach group hypnobirthing antenatal classes, 10 minutes from Gosforth, in the heart of Heaton at St Gabriel's Church, just off Heaton Road. I am also available to offer private 1:1 hypnobirthing antenatal classes in the comfort of your home.

Why choose Sage Birth Hypnobirthing?

If you're looking for complete antenatal preparation, look no further! When you think about the birth of your baby, do you feel apprehensive, slightly fearful, maybe a bit anxious? That's ok, it's very normal. Overly dramatised birth scenes on film and TV have done nothing to fill us with confidence in our bodies and our abilities. It's no wonder that most people approach childbirth from a place of fear. You must be here because you're looking for something different; I can help you with that. The day you birth your baby can be a special and positive experience.

I am a psychologist and I understand the power of the mind and the affects that it has on the body. Together, we can work on training your mind to believe that child birth is something exciting, magical, and beautiful. We will work on relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and positive affirmations to fill you with a calm confidence as you approach the birth of your baby.

Having a positive birth experience is vital. Everything that comes next in your parenting journey, and your baby's life, sits on the foundation of their experience in-utero and birth.

As a psychologist, I am trained to understand research and critique literature. This places me in a unique position to help you understand the efficacy of interventions, that might be offered to you, and the quality of research behind various maternity policies or assumptions. For some people, feeling like they have a choice, and being able to make their own choice, is fundamental to their birth experience.
